Blogging on for Heritage
A campaign has been launched to recruit foodies who want to write blogs about some of the newest products in Nisa’s own-label range.
The search is on for people with a taste for fine food along with the writing skills to match who can post reviews online about new Heritage lines.
The first mission for the bloggers is a review of the recently launched pizza lines as well as the Heritage wine range which has now been on sale for six months.
The hope is the Heritage ambassadors will give some great ratings to the products online and inspire others to indulge.
Launched with an appeal on Nisa Local’s social channels including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, shoppers are urged to “apply to become a Heritage ambassador.”
The advert states: “We’re on the lookout for some social butterflies and top bloggers to share some Heritage goodies with. Get ready for a Big Night In with brand new Heritage pizzas and our tasty wine range.”
Those who are interested are encouraged to apply by midnight tomorrow (Thursday November 9th) via http://www.nisalocally.co.uk/competitions/apply-to-become-a-heritage-ambassador
Tracey Redfearn, Heritage Brand Manager at Nisa, said: “We thought this would be a great way of engaging with our consumers and encouraging them to try our products. People can sometimes be reluctant to switch brands and don’t like to risk trying new things in case they don’t like them. The bloggers will be writing honest reviews and providing insight to shoppers which we hope will encourage them to give the products a try for themselves.”
The blogs will be posted onto the bloggers’ own platforms and shared via social media.
“This is the first time we have tried blogging as part of our marketing activity so I am really looking forward to seeing how it goes and the reaction from our consumers,” added Tracey.
The bloggers are due to be selected later this month with a view to start blogging before Christmas.
