Driving sales for the big night in

After all the Christmas party nights out and New Year’s celebrations, Nisa is supporting retailers in January to cater for the big night in sales opportunity.

With a reported 70 per cent of consumers using a convenience store for this shopper mission, Nisa retailers are well placed to provide all the goods shoppers are looking for.

Share bags of savoury snacks from Walkers and tubes of Pringles are all on offer at £1, coupled with a range of coke 4pks including Coke Zero and Diet Coke Feisty Cherry all priced at £1.50.

Chicago Town pizzas have been included in the big night in offers with a selection of individual thin based pizzas as well as twin pack deep dish pizzas, priced at £1.50.

And Nisa retailers are also offering competitive deals in the licensed category with offers on various individual bottles of ciders, ales and lagers as well as top selling wine brands such as Blossom Hill and Lindeman.

Head of marketing at Nisa, Philippe Rondepierre said: “January can be a quiet month after the Christmas party season and so we are catering for the big night in occasion to help our retailers encourage sales through this popular shopper mission.

“Sharing formats of crisps and snacks make up almost 90 per cent of sales for the big night in and so we have included a good choice of products in the £1 offer and are encouraging retailers to make the most of the opportunity to cross-merchandise.”
