Eyes are on the Pies at Nisa

Nisa retailers will be helping their shoppers celebrate British Pie Week thanks to some piping hot deals on a selection of popular pastry products.

This year will be the 12th British Pie Week and shoppers are expected to tuck into extra pastries, pasties and patties to mark the occasion.

For less than £1, shoppers will be able to indulge in Co-op’s chicken and mushroom or steak pie at just 95p. Or they can tuck into a totally different type of pie with a twin pack of Heritage pork pies or Co-op jumbo sausage roll for £1.

Pie lovers can also enjoy a range of Pukka Pies, including the vegetarian leek and potato option or a selection of pastry goods from Ginsters comprising sausage rolls, Cornish pasties or various baked slices - all on offer at £1.

Head of marketing at Nisa, Philippe Rondepierre said: “Pies are the ultimate comfort food and there is definitely an appetite for them, making British Pie Week a fantastic opportunity for retailers to exploit and increase sales in the category.

“With a wide selection of both own label pies as well as those from big brands available to our retailers, they should be able to cater for every taste and encourage their shoppers to buy a pie or two during British Pie Week.”

 British Pie Week takes place from all next week from Monday 4th to Sunday 10th March.
