Heritage wine continues to enjoy corking sales

Nisa members have given a big thumb up to the new vintage of Heritage wine that was unveiled at the annual trade show earlier this month.

The exhibition saw another bumper order from members for the wine with almost 8,500 cases sold totalling more than £160,000 in sales.

This follows on from the huge success of the initial launch of the own-label wine when it was first introduced to Nisa members at Stoneleigh in 2017.

The range, which is all now sourced from South Africa, comprises the same five varietals; Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Merlot and a Rose.

Heritage Brand Manager Tracey Redfearn said: “These great quality wines have improved flavour profiles and members were impressed with them when sampling at Stoneleigh. They continue to offer members a fabulous wine and a brilliant and constant price point.”

Valerie Aston, director at The Proudfoot Group, said:

Proudfoot listed the Heritage wine from day one recognising a quality wine at an everyday low price in a very competitive market place.

We continue to promote using ‘Everyday Low Price’ shelf edge labels and in-store tastings.

Our 2018 sales are set to treble 2017 sales – 7,000 bottles – and we now have many customers purchasing on a regular basis.
