Nisa provides retailers with perfect picnic picks

With the warmer weather forecast perfectly coinciding with the last three days of National Picnic Week, Nisa partners are encouraging customers to make the most of the climbing temperatures by filling their picnic basket, grabbing a blanket and heading outdoors. 

To ensure bumper summer sales throughout June and July, Nisa is offering its retailers a helping hand with a fantastic selection of fresh deals to mark the start of the alfresco dining season. 

Research shows that 31% of shoppers claim to spend more on food and groceries for picnics during the summer months, so Nisa are ensuring that retailers can stock a wider selection of summertime staples, introducing many Co-op own brand favourite lines including wholemeal bread rolls, Wiltshire breaded ham, ready-to-eat hot and spicy chicken wings, quiche Lorraine, scotch eggs and 100% British fresh strawberries.

Bagged salad leaves, 6pk snack sausage rolls, 8pk mini wheat and white tortilla wraps, Irresistible coleslaw and potato salad along with Melton Mowbray pork pies means shoppers need look no further than their local Nisa store for all their summer alfresco dining needs.

With the British public averaging around 94 million picnics a year according to research1, Nisa are fully equipping their retailers to accommodate for this family-friendly summertime tradition, which will in turn increase footfall and basket spend.
