Nisa retailers have Burns Supper sorted

alt

Nisa is supporting its independent retailer partners this week in driving sales ahead of Burns Night celebrations.

With the annual affair widely celebrated across Scotland, it provides Nisa retailers with another opportunity to drive footfall and generate additional basket spend during the typically quieter month of January.

In order to enable retailers to capitalise on the event, which hits stores on Wednesday 22nd January, a raft of great deals has been made available on a selection of products, all of which are sure to help shoppers get any Burns Day celebrations underway.

Included in the promotion is Mothers Pride Medium sliced loaf 800g (£1.15), Tunnocks Tea Cakes (6pk for £1.09), Lawson’s Skinless Sausages (10pk for £1.39), Mawgan Bay Scottish Smoked Salmon (100g for £3) and Irn Bru (2ltr for £1.39), alongside a wide selection of Scotch whiskeys and ales.

Nisa shoppers will also be able to pick up a tin of Grant’s Haggis 392g, a 2kg bag of Heritage Maris Piper Potatoes and Heritage Swede, all the essential ingredients for a traditional Scottish supper, for less than £5.

Head of marketing at Nisa, Philippe Rondepierre said:

January tends to be a quieter month for retailers, with shoppers tightening the purse strings after the luxurious festive period, so events like Burns Night provide pivotal opportunities to maximise sales.

Our Burns Night deals include a broad selection of products across licensed, which will enable Nisa partners to remain competitive and support them in capturing additional sales.
