Summer of sport in store

With just a week to go before the World Cup kicks off, Nisa retailers are lining up for a great sporting summer.

Following the launch of the Summer of Football campaign last month, activity is continuing throughout June and July as well as the arrival of a more tennis-focused campaign ahead of Wimbledon next month.

Along with some eye-catching POS material for stores to create enticing in-store displays for both the football and tennis tournaments, there is also a great range of competitive offers being made available to Nisa partners.

Nisa is supporting its retailers with some competitive deals on all these categories including 15 pk Coke, Diet Coke and Coke Zero (£5), a wide selection of Maynards Bassetts share bags (£1), Doritos 150g share bags (£1), Doritos 350g Dips (£1) and various deals on a wide selection of beers and ciders.

And for those planning ahead to Wimbledon, deals including Pimms No 1 70cl (£10.99), Schweppes Lemonade and Diet Lemonade 2ltr (£1), I Heart Prosecco 75cl (£7.49) and Robinsons Fruit and Barley 1ltr (£1) will satisfy every shopper – whether it’s football or tennis they’re watching.

Head of marketing at Nisa, Philippe Rondepierre said: “With 86 per cent of shoppers planning on watching the World Cup at home, easy food, beers, ciders, soft drinks and snacks are going to be in high demand and our retailers can really use this opportunity to tempt shoppers into their stores and drive sales.

“And everyone knows that summer drinks such as Pimms and lemonade and sparkling wines are a big hit in the Wimbledon fortnight so we expect shoppers to be topping up on both of these and in doing so helping Nisa partners to have a successful summer.”
