On the 16th of May Nisa won two sector-leading awards: Best Symbol Retailer and the overall award, Best Convenience Retailer at him’s! CTP Awards which were held at the Tate Modern in London. This is the third consecutive year that Nisa has won the award for Best Symbol Retailer, which is voted for by 22,000 shoppers.
The CTP Awards are based on a range of shopper insights including brand strength shopper satisfaction ratings, such as the likelihood that they would recommend the store to family and friends and shopping habits such as visit frequency, the level of impulse purchasing the retailer generates and shoppers’ use of the retailer increasing over the past 12-months.
Nisa has worked hard over the course of the past year developing its core range and in March the company announced that it was injecting £10million across a range of different products to help consumers through the difficult economic climate. Consumer marketing remains a heavy part of the company’s strategy with its commitment to spend £2million on television advertising in 2012.
John Heagney, group symbol director commented: “These awards are extremely rewarding for Nisa as they are voted for by 22,000 shoppers. It’s tremendous that our shoppers have voted us the Best Convenience Retailers and Best Symbol Retailer, the latter of which we have won consecutively for three years. We are deeply grateful for this accolade and strive to provide our members with the best products, ranges and services for their customers.”
