18/01/2012

The Nisa Symbol Group has announced industry leading trading figures throughout the last quarter of 2011. An overall increase of 16.8% was achieved on products, based on their retail selling price, through Nisa’s Central Distribution Services (CDS).

Furthermore like-for-like sales have increased by 7.7% while the Store of the Future format stores are also showing like-for-like sales of +9.1%, emphasising the group’s excellent growth throughout the difficult economic climate.

The Symbol Group’s robust results are on the back of Nisa achieving excellent trading figures of +3.1% for the 39 weeks from April until December 2011 as reported last week.

Throughout the past year the Nisa Symbol Group has worked hard to increase its benefits to members and has introduced a variety of support mechanisms to help improve its brand and instore standards, including the launch of television advertising, increased national press advertising and all stores receiving mystery shopper audits every quarter.

Nisa Group Symbol director, John Heagney commented: “The enhanced mechanisms that we have in place to help support our members have significantly driven loyalty in our business. Members of the Nisa Symbol Group benefit by being loyal and we have structures in place, such as the Symbol Group Development Fund, which help loyal members accrue money to develop their business further.”
